BEDOUIN SHOW, DINNER & STAR GAZING
A Wonderful Evening in the Desert
After being collected from Villa Kelvin you will be driven the short ride into the beautiful, unspoiled desert that surrounds Sharm El Sheikh. Beyond the city, experience the Sinai desert where it largely looks as it has done for thousands of years.
Upon arriving at the Bedouin camp you'll be greeted by your hosts in a authentic Bedouin tent where you can stop, relax, have a rest, drink authentic Bedouin tea with herbs and smoke the water pipe (Shisha) if you wish. You'll also have the opportunity to make delicious fresh bread the ancient Bedouin way.
After some chill-out time in the tent, experience a delicious Bedouin buffet dinner by candle light in the middle of the awe inspiring Sinai desert, followed by a Bedouin show where you will experience the delights of Bedouin dancing, belly dancing and a Tanoura show.
After the evening's entertainment you will have the opportunity to sit back and absorb the enormous silence and tranquility of the desert. This is when you get to feel as if the world around you has stopped while you take in the spectacular view of the milky way and stars through a telescope.
After a wonderful evening of eating, drinking, star gazing and experiencing the Bedouin lifestyle, you will be transferred back to Villa Kelvin.

QUAD BIKING IN THE DESERT
WHAT TO EXPECT
Experience the sunrise or sunset like never before.
You'll be picked up from Villa Kelvin and driven to the quad bike centre approximately 15 minutes away. After a briefing about how to use the quad bike safely, the real fun will begin!
You will drive behind the tour escort to the spectacularly beautiful desert that surrounds Sharm El Sheikh where you can open up the throttle and zoom across the Sinai desert's wadis and open plains.
All this quad biking is thirsty work, so during the trip you will have the opportunity to stop off for complimentary Egyptian tea at an authentic Bedouin Tent.
Quad bikes are available for single riders, or if you prefer, you can have someone on the back with you.

TIRAN ISLAND SNORKELLING TRIP BY BOAT
WHAT TO EXPECT
You'll be picked up from Villa Kelvin at approximately 9am in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and drive the short distance to the harbour, where you'll board our lovely boat for the day. Setting sail North East of Sharm El Sheikh, your captain will be heading through the 1800m deep Gulf of Aqaba to the Blue Lagoon, as you relax on deck with a cold drink and admire the beautiful views on offer.
Snorkel at the Blue Lagoon
After the 2 hour boat ride through the beautiful Gulf of Aqaba you'll arrive at the famous Blue Lagoon, a very popular site for tourists all over the world to come and dive, snorkel, swim or simply take in the views. Although the lagoon isn't particularly deep, you'll find an enormous range of tropical fish here along with beautiful coral reefs.
Snorkel at Tiran Island
After exploring the waters of the Blue Lagoon, you'll continue to Tiran Island for more snorkelling or if you prefer, a swim. If you're lucky you may even see the amazing sight of the wild dolphins that live here as they play, swim and dive - a truly magnificent sight and quite common on this tour!
Well Deserved Lunch
All this swimming makes for hungry work, so you'll be served up a delicious lunch, freshly prepared on board the boat with options to suit all tastes.
The Ship Wreck at Tiran Island
After some time on board the boat for lunch you'll head to the famous shipwreck at Tiran Island, a highlight for many of our guests, this huge doomed ship is fascinating to see. The 2,400 ton Loullia bulk carrier was wrecked between the Straits of Tiran whilst travelling from Jordan to Suez in 1981. Attempts to re-float the Loullia failed and were abandoned, but rumours exist of local drug dealers using it whilst it was still in good shape!
After a wonderful day at sea; relaxing, snorkelling, sunbathing, eating, drinking and generally having a good time, sit back and enjoy the sail back to the harbour where you'll be driven back to Villa Kelvin.

CAMEL RIDE

Riding a camel is a must for first-timers in Egypt, what they lack in comfort, they make up for in character and fun! These animals have been used to crossing these deserts for thousands of years thanks to their disciplined nature and well-known fortitude.
ABOUT
You'll be picked up from Villa Kelvin and will travel approximately 15 minutes into the desert that surrounds Sharm El Sheikh. These beautiful plains have managed to stay untouched by the expanding resort of Sharm and look exactly as they have done for thousands of years - still inhabited by the same local Bedouin tribes who will open their huts to you for the day to show you some of their culture and ways.
Your guide will help you onto your camel and escort you through the desert, up and down small dunes to really let you experience what it's like to travel across a desert by camel - hold on because it's going to be a bumpy ride!
After your ride you'll say goodbye to your trusty camel and sit down in an authentic Bedouin tent for a rest and some delicious tea - the Egyptian way! This is a wonderful experience and a great way to do something a little different for an afternoon during your holiday to Sharm.
At the end of your camel riding tour, you’ll be transferred back to Villa Kelvin in an air-conditioned minibus.

RHINO 4X4 DESERT SAFARI
WHAT'S A RHINO?
These bad boys are ready to tackle the desert! A cross between a quad bike and a 4x4 vehicle, these great little buggies are safe and lots of fun. Slightly different from the sand dune buggies, these offer a proper bench seat for 2 passengers to side-by-side.
The Rhino’s boast fully automatic transmissions, so they can be driven straight away by just about anyone. Whether you're planning a gentle and leisurely drive around the desert or you're driving style is, let’s say, a little more excitable, this is a fantastic way to explore the desert.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your trip will start with you being picked up from Villa Kelvin and being brought to the centre where, after a brief safety talk, you'll hit the desert surrounding Sharm El Sheikh on your Rhino safari buggy.
The duration of the Rhino safari is 2 hours and covers a lot more desert than the quad bike tour as these vehicles are faster than the quads and more robust meaning they are also more comfortable.
You will go to the heart of the Sinai desert with all its nature and stunning beauty. There you'll experience the Bedouin way of life including sampling their famous Bedouin tea as you watch the sunrise or sunset over the unforgettable view of the desert and mountains.
Finally, you’ll head back to the centre for a breather before heading back to Villa Kelvin.
This is highly recommended for couples and children due to the safety of the roll cage and the seating arrangement of the driver being positioned next to the passenger.

SEMI-SUBMARINE TRIP
WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll be picked up from Villa Kelvin and taken down to the marina where you’ll board your submarine then cruise out
for 15 minutes to one of the best coral reefs near the Sharm El Sheikh coastline. You’ll descend in an air-conditioned underwater glass-walled observation deck, to view the extraordinary underwater world through huge panoramic windows from the comfort of your own seat for approximately 45 minutes. After a sail back to the marina, you’ll be transferred back to Villa Kelvin.

SHARM EL SHEIKH

Al Mostafa Mosque
You will have the chance to see one of the most spectacular mosques in Sharm El Sheikh, which looks like Al Azhar mosque in its style and design. This is one of the newest mosques in the city and was built by a group of business men costing them 20 million Egyptian pounds.
The Church
This church is situated nearby the mosque in a public area call the Hi El Noor district.
The Tourist Attractions
Naama Bay is one of the most famous areas in the city due to its many cafes and restaurants, it is also home to the first Hard Rock in Sharm.
The Lighthouse
In order not to forget the lives that were lost in Sharm El Sheikh during an avionic accident in 2004, you pass by The Lighthouse and the memorial of the incident, to pay your respects and to have a moment with your thoughts overlooking the beautiful Red Sea.

Now’s the time for shopping and a chance to have a go at “bartering” - the traditional Egyptian way of negotiating the price of something. Whether you get a good price for your items or not depends on how good you are bartering!

ABOUT
Also known as Moses Mountain by the Bedouins, Mount Sinai is where, according to tradition, God gave the ten commandments to the Israelites! Surrounded by beautiful mountains in all directions, the famous St Catherine’s Monastery also lies at the base of the mountain which you'll explore after your climb.
You’ll be picked up from Villa Kelvin at 9pm and drive from Sharm el Sheikh to Moses Mountain for about 2 hours in a comfortable, modern, air-conditioned coach.
On arrival at Mount Sinai you’ll start the climb through the night to the summit, 2,285 meters which includes about 750 steps. This fantastic, almost surreal, walk is like nothing you have ever done before and we are sure it will be one of the best memories of your holiday to Sharm! Follow the trail of torches up the winding mountain trail, stopping off along the way at the numerous huts that sell warm Egyptian tea, snacks and cold drinks.
On reaching the summit you'll experience the fantastic sunrise over the mountains and deserts surrounding Mount Sinai, a powerful experience and quite possibly one of the best sunrises you'll ever have the pleasure of witnessing. After this, you’ll descend towards St Catherine’s Monastery for breakfast and then journey on to St Catherine's Monastery.
St Catherine’s Monastery.
After a rest and some delicious breakfast, you'll visit St Catherine’s Monastery for a guided tour. This rich in history UNESCO World Heritage site is located on the very ground where god was said to have appeared to Moses in the Burning Bush. For these reasons this is a poignant site for Abrahamic religions.
St Catherine’s is the oldest continuously inhabited Christian monastery in the world, with a history that can be traced back over seventeen centuries. The monastery pre-dates the divisions of the Christian world, its origins extending to late antiquity.
After the guided tour of the monastery, you'll make your way back to Sharm at approximately 11am, arriving back to Villa Kelvin at approximately 1.30pm for some lunch and a well-deserved rest!
FAQ's
What Should I Wear? / Is It Cold?
You’ll be climbing a mountain through the very early hours of morning which can get cold in December, January and February. So, if you're planning on booking a Mount Sinai Tour over these dates please bring a jumper. Good footwear is always recommended, so please bring some sports shoes!
How Hard is the Climb?
It's not difficult at all! The path is fairly level and well-trodden. There are lots of stops on the way so you'll get plenty of chances to catch your breath. If you do find yourself struggling, or you just fancy the experience, feel free to hire a donkey and relax as you are taken up the mountain!

CAIRO IN 1 DAY BY AIRPLANE
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will be picked up from Villa Kelvin in an air-conditioned minivan/coach in the early morning and will be taken to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for your flight to Cairo where you will be accompanied by your Egyptologist tour guide.
Cairo Tour to the Great Pyramid of Giza
When you arrive in the amazing city of Cairo, your first stop will be the Great Pyramids of Giza, the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world and sadly the only one that still remains largely intact
The Sphinx
After you have seen the pyramids of Cairo, your next stop will be a visit to the Sphinx. The Great Sphinx of Giza is a mythological creature, formed of a lion’s body and a human’s head. During your tour of Cairo, you will find out how the nose of the Sphinx was broken off by Napoleon's soldiers, which can still be seen today. There are also theories of kings actually being buried inside the Sphinx!
Lunch on the Nile
Next up is a break for a delicious lunch on the Nile, a large buffet with foods to cater for all tastes and ages. This is a great opportunity to relax and take in the sights and sounds of this lively city before going to visit the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.
Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
Inside this world-famous museum, you'll find more important treasures from Ancient Egypt civilisation than you will find anywhere else in the world. From Pharaonic antiques to the treasure found in the tomb of Egypt's best known King, Tutankhamun.
Spanning two floors, each section of the museum is dedicated to specific kings, or time periods. Even those not usually interested in Egyptian history find it to be a fascinating and powerful experience to be so close to such historically important artefacts.
Shopping in the Bazaars of Cairo
After you have seen the pyramids, sphinx and other amazing sights that Cairo has to offer, you will have some free time for shopping in the world famous bazaars of Cairo - another big pull for tourists from all over the world.
Return to Villa Kelvin
Finally you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight back to Sharm El Sheikh and your transport back to Villa Kelvin.

LUXOR IN 1 DAY BY AIRPLANE
Valley of the Kings Tour
You'll start the tour of Luxor by crossing over to the West Bank to visit the Valley of Kings. One of the most remarkable archaeological destinations in the world, the valley is known to contain 63 tombs and chambers ranging in size from a simple pit to a complex tomb with over 120 chambers. On your tour of the Valley of the Kings you'll explore these magnificent tombs, belonging to past kings such as King Tutankhamun and the Sons of Ramesses II. Just as with the Pyramids, looking around the Valley of the Kings, guests often feel strong emotions of disbelief and intrigue about the great age of the structures and how ahead of their time they were for such an ancient civilisation.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Next you'll continue your tour of Luxor by making the short journey to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Widely considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt", the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari on the West Bank of the River Nile near the Valley of the Kings.
Colossi of Memnon and the Alabaster Institute
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. For the past 3400 years they have stood in the Theban necropolis, across the River Nile from the modern city of Luxor.
Stop for a Delicious Buffet Lunch
After seeing the sights of the West Bank of Luxor, you'll head back to the East Bank to freshen up and have a delicious buffet lunch with a variety of options to suit all tastes.
Karnak Temple
Built in the ancient City of Thebes, which we today call Luxor, the Karnak Temple is one of the six great ancient Egyptian Temples. To the rear of the temple you'll find chapels built for Thutmose III and Alexander the Great, reminding visitors of the Temple’s past life as a Roman legionary fortress during the Roman era. Throughout history, centuries of rubble from the cities slowly built up, partly burying it until work began to excavate it in 1884.
Return to Sharm El Sheikh
After your amazing day in Luxor you will then be transferred to Luxor Airport and fly back to Sharm El Sheikh where you will be met by your driver to be taken back to Villa Kelvin.

Where Cairo has the Great Pyramids, Luxor's most spectacular site is arguably the Valley of Kings, where, for nearly 500 years, the kings of the New Kingdom were buried in spectacular tombs constructed especially for them along with their treasures to take with them to the after-life.
As well as the Valley of the Kings, our excursion to Luxor by airplane will also take you to see spectacular temples such as the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which is considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt".
You will be picked up from Villa Kelvin in the early morning and transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport. From here you will fly to Luxor where upon arrival you will be met by an English speaking tour guide who will join you for the duration of your tour in Luxor. The tour guides are all very friendly, knowledgeable and speak excellent English.

HOW TO BOOK
Pricing
Prices are subject to change. To enquire about the current pricing for any of our See and Do excursions, please feel free to message us via the website, Instagram or Airbnb.
Booking
Once your VK booking is confirmed, you will be able to contact us through the Villa Kelvin WhatsApp group or Airbnb and we will take care of reservations for you.
Simply drop us a message stating:

Total number of people wishing to partake in the excursion (including age of any child under 12 years old)
Once we receive the booking request, we will check availability and let you know when we have received confirmed availability for your excursion(s).
We kindly ask for a booking notice period of a minimum of 24 hours.
Confirmed bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
We will then request full payment for the excursion(s) booked either through Airbnb or as a bank transfer.
Once we have successfully received your payment, we will then confirm receipt and your excursion(s).
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR TOURS & EXCURSIONS
We understand that holiday plans can easily change - and we do not believe you should have to suffer for this.
As long as you cancel at least 3 days before going on your excursion, you will receive 90% of the price of the excursion you are cancelling.
If you cancel within 3 days of your trip’s departure date, we will let you know of any charges. These are only likely to be applied if we have had to pay a substantial outlay for your trip and will not be able get it back - i.e. flights.
If external factors beyond our control restrict us from operating any tours (i.e. Cairo Tour) we will always offer you the chance to use your payment towards other tour(s).
AMENDMENTS
If you decide you do not want to go on your trip, you are welcome to use your payment towards another trip, there will not be ANY charge for this as long as we do not incur any charges. Usually this would only happen if we need to change details for flights on a flight excursion, i.e. Cairo by Air, in this case we will notify you of any such charges.
