Here at Villa Kelvin we are more of a family than a team. Here's a little bit about who we are and what we are to VK guests.
We can't wait to get to know you and add you to the extended VK family!
Colleen (known to her friends in the USA as “CC") is the villa owner, host and more importantly sister to Captain Kelvin himself. Whilst most sibling bonds are strong, any who knew them described their bond as something extra special.
Like Kelvin, Colleen left her roots in the southwest of England and headed for foreign shores. She eventually made her home among the foothills of the stunning Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA where she has still lives with husband Andy and their dogs.
With a passion for horses, most of her life has been spent working in the equestrian field, training horses and coaching riders. Over the past 3 years she has started building a real estate business.
Intent on keeping her brothers legacy alive, and wanting to share the culturally immersive experience unique to VK, Colleen had the idea to turn his beloved villa into an oasis for all to enjoy.
Whilst she may not be in town for everyone's stay, Colleen is keen to welcome you into her home and hope's you too will feel like a part of the Villa Kelvin family before long. She welcomes any and all interaction/feedback from guests about any aspect of their stay.
Josh, is Colleen’s son and a VK allrounder.

Josh grew up between the picturesque coastline of Southwest England, the rugged Rocky Mountains of Colorado and the sand and sea of Sharm El Sheikh. Josh inherited his two biggest passions, the sea and 4x4’s from his uncle and hero Captain Kelvin.
From a young age Josh cut his teeth on boats and diving at his uncles side, as the years progressed so did the mischief! Josh and Kelvin would often collaborate on ideas, technical set ups, and the best modifications for their respective trucks and were renowned for egging each other on to bigger and “better” buys.
These days Josh, his wife Bryony and their two boys call the rolling hills of Dartmoor in the Southwest of England home. He’s traded out the warm, azure blue waters of the Red Sea to diving the cold, dark waters of the English Channel.
To the VK family Josh is an all rounder. If there’s a job to be done or task to complete he will gladly take it on. Like Colleen, Josh may not be in town for everyone’s stay but welcomes any and all interaction/feedback from the guests about any aspect of their stay, and hope’s you too will feel like a part of the Villa Kelvin family before long.
Hannah, or "Monty" as she is affectionately referred to within the VK family, is the face that many of the guests will associate with the Villa.
Hannah is a British ex pat who has lived in Sharm El Sheikh for the last 14years, many of which were spent working with Kelvin himself, specialising in the tourism sector.

Monty specialises in guest liaison and will be your personal point of contact for booking excursions, booking transport/transfers or general questions during your stay at Villa Kelvin.

Hannah is like the life blood that keeps VK running with exceptional service. We couldn't do without her, and we're sure you'll feel the same.
One of the integral members of team Villa Kelvin is Shaben.
Shaben comes from an area outside Cairo where he lives with his wife, children and livestock. Life in Egypt can be incredibly hard for some of the locals, with the breadwinner often being away from his family for months at a time.
Although Shaben speaks little English, he does a great job of taking care of the villa for our family and our guests. He keeps the grounds and pool in tip top order while our guests are in residence, and in between stays, he is carrying out general maintenance in and around the villa.
His cleaning services whilst you are in residence are available to you for an additional fee. As well as cleaning, Shaben can call a taxi, pick you up a wonderfully tasty Egyptian breakfast or fetch extra water if you desire. Please just let us know if you require any of these services during your stay and we will arrange it with him for you.
Shaben worked with Captain Kelvin and our family for 20 years and as a result is wildly passionate about VK. We are very blessed to have him with us and hope that you too are able to appreciate his inconspicuous hard work ensuring the facilities are kept in tip top condition throughout your stay.
